Sentinel Literary Quarterly
Public Notice 3rd March 2008
SENTINEL LITERARY (PRINT VERSION) SUSPENDED
In September 2007, our print magazine, Sentinel Poetry Quarterly reappeared as Sentinel Literary Quarterly, with expanded areas of literature covered. But this publication has been bedevilled with numerous production and distribution difficulties, including lost or undelivered copies to some purchasers or contributors which has put even more pressure on a production that was over-budget in the first instance. We have now found it expedient to suspend further production of the print version of the magazine with immediate effect.
We are now making a short print run of the September 2007 issue, enough to fulfil our obligation to the contributors and existing subscribers who did not receive their copies.
We have also already refunded in full all subscribers who did not receive the magazines. Subscribers from the days of Sentinel Poetry Quarterly with unlapsed subscriptions, will receive the outstanding magazine plus any cash balances from their subscriptions (if applicable.)
Any contributor/subscriber still waiting for the September issue will receive it soon and could view the full magazine online. It is password-protected, so they would need to request password from me at editor@sentinelquarterly.com
And then view it at this location:

Sentinel Literary Quarterly (online)
The SLQ will now publish online in March, June, September, and December 2008 and on the last days of same months every year thereafter. We are unable at this time to state when the print version will return. We are now contacting all those with materials accepted for the SLQ that they will be published online only and to make sure they are happy with that.
