HOW TO POST OF PUBLISH YOUR POEM/ARTICLE AT SENTINEL
You have a choice of publishing in our monthly Online Magazine, the Expression Warehouse or the Poetry Bar. There are four ways to get your work to us:
As a Guest Poet: This is by invitation only. We invite poets to be guests of the month--every month. You may recommend a guest poet from any background, age or level of achievement, we feature both established and upcoming poets as guests. You may even recommend yourself is you feel you have something special to offer our reading public.
Poetry Bar: This is our new poetry forum. Use our Poetry Board and post your poem instantly by yourself anytime you want, review other people's poems and make friends with other poets. Just click on new article to begin.
Magazine Submission: We want poems, short fiction in verse, articles, poetry book reviews, information on festivals, readings, book launches, critical essays, interviews with poets, profile of poets.
Here are the guidelines for submitting materials to Sentinel Poetry magazine
Poems: Send up to 6 poems, no longer than 40 lines each. Or a longer poem (no longer than 120 lines) plus 2 short poems. Poems must be previously unpublished. Poems posted in Poetry discussion Forums for purposes of critique and revision are not deemed to have been previously published. If we accept your poem for publication, although you retain all copyrights, we expect you to give us First Publication acknowledgement whenever the poem appears in the future in another publication. Other Materials: Send short fiction in verse, articles, poetry book reviews, information on festivals, readings, book launches, critical essays, interviews with poets, profile of poets. No longer than 3000 words except by arrangement.
How To Submit to Sentinel Poetry Magazine: Send poems in the body of your e-mail. If your poem employs special formatting, please use the rich text format I your e-mail client or contact us first to consider receiving your mail as a Microsoft Word attachment.
