SENTINEL POETRY (ONLINE)
For Public Information
We recently announced a change in the frequency of Sentinel Poetry
(Online) from monthly to bi-monthly, with the first bi-monthly issue
originally scheduled for publication on the 17th of February, 2008.
There have however been some serious changes in the editorial
constitution of the magazine: Patrick Iberi (Art Editor) and Amatoritsero Ede
(Editor-in-Chief)have had to leave the editorial board for 'personal reasons'
and to focus on 'other projects'.
For the time being I return as Editor of Sentinel Poetry (Online) and will run this for at least the next 24 months to reconsolidate things. It is imperative that Sentinel Poetry (Online) is steered back to some kind of set pattern that the magazine was known for in the past when we delivered it unfailingly on the first day of every month. The amicable exit of Amatoritsero Ede means that we have an agreement that from time to time subject to time’s humour he will return as a Guest Editor.
I am moving a few things around with the format of the magazine to give it a fresh and more vibrant feel. This new magazine will be published on the 28th of February, 2008.
I wish to use this opportunity to say a big Thank You to Amatoritsero Ede and Patrick Ede for the sacrifice of working on the sentinel magazine without pay for such a long time. Their contributions to the growth and history of this publication will never be forgotten.
