SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES Poems Send up to 6 poems of no longer
than 60 lines each or a longer poem up to 120 lines plus
two shorter poems. All poems MUST be previously
unpublished. Poems posted in online
discussion forums as part of the developmental/creative process are not
deemed to have been previously published. The editor reserves the right not
to consider any future submission from you if it should turn out that you
poem published in Sentinel had appeared elsewhere first. All poems to be sent by e-mail
in the body of the e-mail AND as
Microsoft Word or rtf. Send all poems to sentinelpoetry@hotmail.com make sure you include a valid e-mail address for
publication notification or editorial suggestions. Please include a glossary of any
unusual terms or foreign language words. Include a short bio, not longer
than 3 or four lines: Your name, location, publications (if
any). Please don't include the reason you write poetry in your bio, and
certainly avoid mentioning many cats you have. Include a recent photograph of
yourself (optional), so that readers
may put a face to your voice. Once will know within 8 weeks
whether or not your poems have been
accepted for publication. Upon acceptance, Sentinel Poetry (Online) will hold
the copyright until publication. Upon publication, the copyright reverts to
you. Please mention in future that the poem was first published in Sentinel
Poetry (Online). If your poem appears in Sentinel
Poetry (Online) would you be kind enough to wait up to 6
months before submitting more poems? Payment: None. But we do give
you a lot of publicity and this magazine will never go out of
print. Features & Reviews Send reviews, interviews,
biographies, opinion articles on any
aspect of poetry up to 6,000 words long as Microsoft Word attachment or rtf.
