REVIEWS

In this issue (March/April 2008)

Poets on Poets is a new feature we have added to Sentinel Poetry and will have at least one poet in every issue talking about and or reviewing works by his or her favourite poet. The first poets to take on this task for the magazine are Unoma Azuah who has chosen to talk about Jamaican-born poet Staceyann Chin and Obododimma Oha who talks about Tom Savage.

In the next issue (May/June 2008)

We need book reviewers for the magazine. Alan Hardy has already accepted to write reviews for us but we need a few more reviewers. It is a simple relationship really: if you wish to write reviews for us, please contact us by e-mail, and once agreed, we will send you one or two books every two months to review for us. We don't as yet have a budget to pay for these reviews, but you get to keep the book you review which is not so bad. 'A healthy library is worth more than an accountful of money' sounds like something a poet would say.
