Sentinel International Poetry Competition (July 2005)
The first Sentinel International Poetry Competition was held in July 2005 and was adjudicated by Martin Holroyd, editor of Poetry Monthly.
The Results are as follows:
Third Prize (£40)
“Farm Hand” by T.M. Dowling
Second Prize (£60)
“Oh Brad!” by William Birtwistle
First Prize (£100 + 1 year’s subscription to Sentinel Poetry Quarterly)
“Rwanda” By Jane Gyamfi-Sarkodie
Adjudicator’s report shall be published alongside the winning poems in Sentinel Poetry Quarterly #5.
