ENTRY 1 - LEANING SHOULDERS
I remember quiet clouds me eyes resting from the rhythm of toil sweat work muscles hustle.
Imagine the tremors of the giant that came on parade sending blood to the empty arms of the clouds bang/bang & bang windows doors cars legs legs, me legs refuse to tremble like the doors me eyes ran to the window and lent out ear.
I remember the stories Our lies of fireworks to our children but the welcome the visuals canals bodies screams Fear! me eyes salute fear when the ear comes back bearing POW in its bill me eyes welcome fear when the land came rumbling from the darkest safe of war.
I remember trying to forget but mothers were soaked with tears land meets blood blood meets tears tears mingle with us into the canal.
I remember reaching out for me tears and some of yours carefully wrapping the sighs cries scars blood spirit pain anger hurt spoil me memory will serve strength when blood goes to the clouds at dawn.
