HELEN WOODWARD

Mirror

From the shards of a broken heart
I will keep the pieces to remake,
sculpt from the dust that was bliss,
I am the other side of the mirror,
the liquid self is not me,
I am hard as glass,
brittle, subtle, transparent as the past.
