Tokin on poetry

I'm on a natural high
so please,
let's not fight
not tonight.

This evening
I toked on some poetry
and watched
colours bleed
from dark cracks
in the dry paving
that carries my feet.

I tasted the autumn in you
through the dew
that dances on proud blades of grass
on September mornings.

I smelt rivers and streams
toboggan through valleys
of my past life.

Yeah! I'm trippin!
trippin on  a poetry vibe
feelings embossed against my cheek
words dripping and spitting
like juice from a ripened mango.

The world is beautiful
love is enough
happiness is - cuming at the same time… how bout we try?

So don't bring me down tonight
With another one of our fights
Let's see things differently.
