CALL FOR POEMS
DEADLINE: JULY 20, 2004
EDITORS SEEKING Poetry from African writers from all over Africa, and from African writers residing in Europe, the Americas and Asia for a forthcoming anthology of African Poetry. Submissions from women encouraged.
Guidelines: please submit not more than five poems. Also include a cover letter, three-line bio and contact information. Info: e-mail submissions to etim99@yahoo.com or tojaide@cs.com. You may also mail all submissions to: c/o D. Okoro, Anthology Submission, PO Box 298923, Chicago, IL 60626. Theme: All poems submitted must relate to the theme of memory ( time and place). Reflections on relocation, travel experiences, the immigrant's confrontation with a new homeland, nostalgia, or the desire for reconnection to a landscape familiar is also welcomed. We are interested in poems that are deeply thought provoking. Copyright remains with the authors.
