Die Sommertür offen:
verschluckt mich draußen der November.
Ich blicke zurück auf ein Haus aus Muscheln
Lavendel und Salzwind. War es echt? frage ich
Und höre noch den Nachklang dicker dumpfer Katzenpfoten.

Summer's door left open:
I stare into November days.
Looking back upon a house made of seashells,
lavender and salty winds. Was it real? I ask
and hear the echo of thick thudding cat's paws.
