Nnorom Azuonye

Nnorom Azuonye is the Director and Host, Sentinel Literature Festival. Founder and Administrator of Sentinel Poetry Movement, He is also the Editor of Sentinel Literary Quarterly, and Nollywood Focus magazines. He has read his poems at several venues in Nigeria and the UK.

 

Author of Letter to God and Other Poems (2003), The Bridge Selection: Poems for the Road (2005), and Blue Hyacinths (2009, Editor, with Geoff Stevens), Azuonye's poems, essays, short fiction, and interviews have appeared in several international magazines and anthologies including; Songs for Wonodi (2007: Dike Okoro ed.); For the Love of God (2004: Desmond Kon et al. eds); Voices Against Racism: 100 Poems Against Racism (1998: Thomas O'Flaherty ed.); Agenda; Poetry Monthly; Keystone; Drumvoices Revue; Flair; Sentinel Literary Quarterly; African Writing; Orbis; The Guardian (Nigeria), World Haiku Review and Sketchbook. He also has work forthcoming in On Broken Wings (2009: Unoma Azuah ed), My Trousers are Longer than Yours (2010: Chika Unigwe ed.) and Ink, Sweat & Tears (December 2009).

 

He lives in London, UK with his wife Thelma Nwamamaka, son Arinze Chinedum and daughter Nwachi Ola.
