EMPTINESS
 
I have got great longing,
yet I have never known it for
I feel that I have fallen in love,
yet I have never known it with
And just in my dreams and fantasies only
the very feelings will have spouted
and suck vague shadows which have come to tease
my sleep and lonely times.
 
So I have fallen on the evil days
anxious...
nervous...
Then I have sunk into emptiness.
 
Thank heavens !
I suddenly get it into my head.
The emptiness is obviously not like sky without clouds
It is not like sea without fishes
It is not like desert without ashes
It is not like land without plants
It is also not like atmosphere without air
It is really not like that.
The  emptiness has just the meaning like this here :
It is that we should pour out our longing
to the fellow being.
