VALERIE ATTIA
Trapped behind
Trapped behind those big walls, Walls like the great wall of china, Height with no limits Strength with endless power, There is no way out.
Gathered wrestles, with my dear ones, Knowing that our time shall soon come, Our life could be quite long, And yet so lonely.
We were once a seed Blossoming and growing In gardens of joy In happiness and love
You put us together, And provide us with shelter, You leave us for long, & say it's for our own best,
Yet… How could one live with no freedom, How could one simply give up his life, Our only way out is with your permission, & when will this ever come,
Even to get out we travel a long way, After you've left dreams to flow, You open the gate, and forbid us to go out, Then you slowly walk us out… As you admire our eyes starring at the light of god…
Only to find our selves trapped in another cell, Only that one has colourless walls, And with no roof You watch us, holding hands, then slowly rise us up,
And in less then one second we are gone, Vanished in to another world, It's hard to be a drop of wine…
