ALEXANDRIA PICKISSARI

HAPPINESS IS NOT A COMMODITY

Inextricably linked,
each atom, each action.
Man habitually blinkered,
by petty distraction.

Atrocities rife,
through boundary, through faction.
Struggling daily,
for his own satisfaction.

To seek it outside,
the human reaction.
In living this way,
he increase the friction.

A part fights the whole,
can't you see contradiction?
