All I'll Ever Know Of You
All I'll ever know of you Is the markings on your face And that you were taken from this life And your body left no grace All I see inside your eyes Is the reflection of your death The image made, imprinted there When you took your last, weak breath All I'll ever know of you Is your flesh discarded here But wherever your spirit may lie Let my heart be lying near Oh, wherever your spirit may lie Know my heart is always near
