Sentinel Poetry Movement was founded on December 1, 2002 by Nnorom Azuonye. The vision of the movement is to build the world's premier community of writers and artists from all backgrounds, nationalities, race, religion, gender, age, sexuality, political or ideological affiliation.
It is our dream to build a community where established poets and poets in the nascent stages of their development could interact either through our unmoderated open forums, or through our members-only Poetry Bar.
In addition to these interactive forums, SPM Publications - the publishing arm of Sentinel Poetry Movement runs two magazines; "Sentinel Poetry", and "Sentinel Literary Quarterly".
From time to time, we hold a live poetry reading event to bring our members together.
