Online Lines

(i)

Words and worlds of words

Words therefore worlds, afterwards

Words beyond words

Words after words,

The broken s-

Word mightier than the world

Words out of words, out-of-worlds

Endless births after deaths

Of logospheres lost in mobile sprezzaturas

Words of nothingness

Walking tall

Talking tough about copycats & broken pots

And the words of silence

Sitting on their tombstones

Waiting to be born

Words about words about worlds

To come ...

And now closes the book

A blank eye keeping watch

Over the formless wor(l)d.

(ii)

Closed doors, open windows

A mouse comes, daring traps

And nibbles through the dibia’s magic bag

Spilling secrets

Who can pass the sacred word

And not share a private world?

Passwords and past worlds

Are broken

Like the lobes of the ritual kolanut

Smelling of stories

Windows after windows after windows...

The seven lines of nzu running

To the seventh world

Udude, Spirit of the Web, watch my word

In this reluctant dawn.

(iii)

Homes online

Lines homeless

Travelling from man to machine to man ...

Lines of lives, entering through windows

Into other lives

Other lives beginning

From the end of the pen

Indeed, no better home

To download a laugh

Except where we are

Online

&

Nowhere

(iv)

The Web is a free place to die,

A dead place to be free.

A foraging fly caught in the Web

Struggles

A mail alert sounds

For the sleeping spyder

And the spyder says to the frightened fly

Not to worry

For the world is a shrinking friendship

So when weary of struggle

Find rest

In the stomach of a friend
